The ancient landscape of Wales lends itself beautifully to sheep farming. The lush, green habitat encompasses lowland pastures surrounded by the sea. Mountainous uplands are fed by a myriad of streams and rivers. The changing terrain provides a year-round supply of Welsh lamb. Both old world and sustainable farming practices creates some of the highest quality lamb in the world.

High standards of animal husbandry and pasture management as well as small family-run farms have helped preserve the unique landscape. It’s one of the reasons Welsh Lamb has achieved the coveted and prestigious Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status from the European Commission.

Every animal must be fully traceable from field to plate and grown without the use of added growth hormone.
